We are living in the most exciting time in history for the Kingdom of God. The Chief Apostle, The Lord Jesus Christ is breathing into His church in these last days an apostolic Spirit for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. Believers are rising up with new strength and power, and doing great exploits. Christ Jesus is building His church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it! The church age began with apostolic & prophetic power, and it will end with apostolic & prophetic power.
As we are now in a new century and a new millennium, we find ourselves in a crucial transition time in the church. God is shifting us into new kingdom positions that require new mentalities, and releasing to us a flow of present "Truth Revelation" that will bring us into a whole new way of "doing ministry" - new cutting edge "spiritual technologies" that will propel and advance us forward in the purposes of God as never before.
This is why God is now placing such an emphasis on the restoration of apostles and prophets to the church. According to Ephesians chapters 2 and 3, they are the key foundational ministries of revelation that reveal the mysteries of God to the body of Christ. Every generation need these ministries to take the church to new realms in the Holy Spirit. When the church needs a new wineskin to contain the new wine God is desiring to pour out, He raises up His apostles and prophets to prepare the way. They come on the contemporary scene challenging tradition and religious systems, liberating the people of God to step into the new things God has prepared for them.
We are now entering such a time in the church. "The Apostolic and Prophetic Reformation." The dynamic results of this current reformation may prove to be even more significant in its achievements to bring us closer to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ than the Protestant Reformation of 500 years ago. I encourage you to seek the Lord and find your place of ministry and service in this time of reformation and restoration.
